How it works

Three taps, done

  1. Choose your photos

Tap the button, drop a photo on the page or paste one. One file or a whole folder.

  2. Get your JPG straight away

Smart settings are picked for you. Change the quality, size or background only if you want to.

  3. Download

Save one JPG, or a single ZIP when there are several. Nothing to sign up for.

Pick the form, drop the photo or signature, and download a JPG that fits: the KB range, the pixel box and the DPI label are set in one step, and every file is checked against them after it is written.

The presets, and where they come from

Each preset is a KB range, a pixel box and a DPI label. Centimetre sizes are turned into pixels at the notice’s DPI (or 200 DPI where it states none), and the pixel size is shown so nothing is hidden.

Step by step

  1. Choose the preset in the Form panel — photo or signature for SSC, PAN, UPSC or IBPS — or Custom for your own numbers.
  2. Drop the photo or signature. A phone photo, a scan, a HEIC or a PNG all work.
  3. The picture is cropped to the box from the centre (switch to Fit in Size to pad instead) and sized to the KB range.
  4. Download, then read the checklist under the file. Every item is read from the JPG you are about to upload.

What the checklist tests

  • The file starts with a JPEG signature — a PNG renamed to .jpg fails here, which is the point.
  • The extension is the one you chose (.jpg or .jpeg).
  • The size in bytes is inside the range, printed in KB and in bytes.
  • The pixel size matches the box (or the notice’s range).
  • The DPI label in the JFIF header, and in EXIF if present, says what the form asks.
  • The border is mostly near white — a heuristic, labelled as one, for forms that ask for a light background.
  • The file name is ASCII, without spaces, and no longer than 50 characters.

Questions

What size does SSC ask for?
The SSC CHSL notice used for the preset asks for a JPEG photo of 20 to 50 KB, about 3.5 × 4.5 cm, and a signature of 10 to 20 KB, about 4.0 × 2.0 cm. Notices change between examinations; check the one for yours.
Why does the portal say my JPG is invalid?
The commonest reasons are a file outside the KB range, the wrong pixel size, a PNG or HEIC renamed to .jpg, or a file name with spaces or non-English letters. The checklist under each converted file tests all of these from the file itself.
What does 200 DPI mean for an upload?
DPI is a label inside the file that says how large to print it. It does not change the pixels. Portals that check it read that label; the presets write it into the JPG and the checklist reads it back.
KB or kB — which is it?
Portals almost always mean 1 KB = 1,024 bytes, as Windows shows sizes. That is what this page uses, and the exact byte count is printed too.
Are the UPSC and IBPS figures official?
Not yet verified against the notices. They are the figures candidates widely report, and the presets say “Confirm on the official portal” for that reason. SSC and PAN presets were read from the official instructions.
Is my photo or signature sent anywhere?
No. Everything — cropping to the box, the size search, the DPI label and the checks — runs in this tab. There is no upload endpoint on this domain.
